One dies in brawl

TEGAL, Central Java: Dozens of students from two senior high schools were involved in a brawl Sunday night which left one dead and scores injured.

Antara reported 17-year-old Roby Susanto was stabbed with a kitchen knife. There was no explanation about the cause of the brawl, but witnesses said Roby's group was outnumbered by the other group even at the outset of the fight.

When Roby fell, his friends fled. Tegal police chief Lt. Col. Tedjo Sularso said he had yet to receive reports on the fight. (swe)
