On the Internet
I am referring to the letter from Osvaldo Coelho captioned "Internet" (The Jakarta Post, Nov. 7, 1996). It is true that "Big Brother is watching you on the Internet." I also found my cookie, in my case, called "cookies.txt" in the Netscape program. I am a little bit rattled by this fact, and would like to find out what I could do about it. Are there any solutions to this practice? Could we modify the info so that Netscape gets the message?
I would propose that Mr. Zatni Arbi, who is regularly writing for The Jakarta Post on computers, follows up on The Economist article mentioned by Mr. Osvaldo Coelho.
As a matter of fact, it would be nice if we could contact Zatni direct by e-mail, such as is possible with the authors of the monthly automobile page.
Another question to The Jakarta Post. I remember that for some time, The Jakarta Post went on the net, but it is nowhere mentioned in the paper. Could you give me your web site?

Note: We went on the net through a number of agencies in the United States, Germany and Hong Kong.
