On suing RI, BI and Exim Bank

I am writing in response to The Jakarta Post June 25 report RI govt and central bank sued for $58.69 billion. I feel concerned about it and would like to make the following comments.

New York City attorneys Burchetta Brofman & Hanley on behalf of the plaintiffs, Group of BA Ltd. and its principal Gustaff Daniel Parengkuan, can hardly sue the Republic of Indonesia, the Bank of Indonesia (the central bank) and Bank Expor Impor (Exim) when they have no complete evidence.

Remember, the Watergate scandal was disclosed and had forced the then-U.S. president Richard Nixon to step down from the presidency.

If the court finds Indonesia, the central bank and Bank Exim guilty, they should transfer the funds back to the plaintiffs' account soon.

Instead of worsening, I'm sure this will enhance and remedy Indonesia's honor in the international business world.
