On late water bills

We would like to thank Mr. Hasan Karman for sending a letter
to the editor of Media Indonesia which also appeared in The
Jakarta Post (April 4) on his complaint titled KATI's bill comes
late. However, we would like to provide an explanation.

The late arrival of Mr. Karman's water bill was due to the
fact that when we delivered the bill, nobody was home. This
occurred repeatedly and he therefore received his bill late. We
deeply regret the inconvenience and wish to apologize.

To avoid similar occurrences, we kindly request Mr. Karman and
other KATI customers who have not received their bills by the
20th of each month to directly contact our nearest office
(Rayon). We would like to advise Mr. Karman to contact Rayon
Martadinata. Or, contact our customer service (Layanan Prima) on
5772010. No fine will be imposed if you contact us immediately.

We have advised all of our customers to pay their bills at
their nearest post office. But for late payment, please contact
our area offices.

KATI is committed to providing the best service to its
customers. Therefore, should any problems arise relating to our
services, including water bills, leaks and new installation,
kindly contact our customer service at the above phone number. We
will immediately take action accordingly.
