On Islamo-Christian civilization

The article Islamo-Christian civilization in The Jakarta Post, March 2, was very interesting because in this globalization era we need such ideas to bring peace in our world. This carries the same goal as the Madinah Charter (Piagam Madinah) which our prophet Muhammad found.

The two religions will always quarrel and cannot reconcile because their point of direction is placed on opposite sides, that is, the Masjidil Haram versus the Masjidil Aqsa.

With the Madinah Charter the two religions can be united as one, and they promise to live together and not interfere with each other. Is the unity of religion opposed to the aqidah? Of course not; because it has been described in the Koran surat Al Maida (5): 48 and Al Baqarah (2): 148.

Further study reveals that Hajar Aswad a relief of a woman's genitalia (vulva) is the only weapon used by our Prophet to unite the religions. Religious teaching should take the form of a simple and applicable language. To explain this matter is time consuming and needs long discussion.

The old Indonesian culture also worshiped genitalia symbols too, such as what we find it in the old temple Candi Sukuh, Yoni as the female genitalia.

Let us review the Christian prayer: "Our Father in heaven above, take us to your kingdom", and if we look at the Koran (surat Al Mulk(67): 1, it also describes a heavenly kingdom. For the Muslims that kingdom of heaven is a reward for those who are devoted to God.

It is written in surat Ar Rahman (55):49 and so on. So the goal of the two religions is the same, so why don't these two religions merge or unite as one?

Islamic and Christian followers are like two blind men who touch an elephant on opposite sites, one in the front and the other at the rear. One finds the head and the trunk, the other finds the tail and the legs, even though they are actually touching the same thing; that is the Kingdom of Heaven.

All religions and their adherents should wake up from their long sleep and translate their teachings into applicable directions. Religions should no longer deal with rituals and doctrines, but should take an active role to bring changes, so that the world becomes safer and more peaceful.

The society in the Islamo Christian civilization has been called Masyarakat Madani (Civil Society), because this idea comes from the Madinah Charter.

Please try to contemplate on this, because religion is for people who want to think.
