Thank you for printing my article in the Sunday edition of The
Jakarta Post on Sept. 22, 2002 regarding Hotel Santika
Yogyakarta's ISO certification. Unfortunately, an important point
got lost in the editing process.

The ISO numbering system is a bit confusing, but actually
Santika Yogyakarta earned ISO 9002 first, attaining certification
in 1999. Earlier this year they completed the requirements to
upgrade that certification to ISO 9001. Thus, they are not trying
to improve, they've already done it! Therefore, the photo caption
should have congratulated them on a job well done.
