On death penalty

In response to the letter Forgive convicted Australians (The Jakarta Post, Oct. 20) from a New Zealander, I would like to see the death penalty for drug pushers in Australia.

It is well known that drug crimes in Asia bring the death penalty, so there is no excuse.
