JAKARTA (JP): Indonesia's Olympic gold medal winning pair
Ricky Subagja and Rexy Mainaky each received a Bimantara Cakra
car yesterday from Bimantara Group president Bambang Trihatmojo.

Bambang, who is also President Soeharto's second son, said
that the men's doubles badminton players deserved the awards for
salvaging Indonesia's pride at the world's biggest sporting
event.

Both shuttlers are members of the Bimantara Tangkas club owned
by the holding company.

Indonesia won a gold, a silver and two bronzes, all in
badminton, at the Atlanta Olympics last July. (amd)
