Officials questioned for corruption

BENGKULU, Bengkulu: Two officials at the Bengkulu city administration are being questioned by the provincial high prosecutor's office for alleged corruption.

Chief of the office, Army Boer, said the officials are suspected of embezzling money from two state banks.

The embezzled money had been intended for financing market, road and housing projects, he added, Antara reported. (par)
