Official summoned over disease

BOGOR: Bogor council summoned on Monday city health agency
chief Triwhanda Elan with regard to an outbreak of disease at
Kedung Badak neighborhood, Tanah Sereal subprecinct in Bogor.

Eman Sulaeman, a commission chief of the municipal council,
said the council had asked the health agency to monitor people's
health at their homes in a move to prevent further infection.

He said that during a three-week period, some 35 people had
been infected by a flu-like disease, which could still not be
identified. Twenty of them had recovered. --JP
