Official places for party flags across the capital

JAKARTA (JP): Beginning on the first day of the campaign
period on May 19, the capital will be adorned by flags of the 48
parties contesting the June 7 general election.

Financed with Rp 2 billion (US$231,000) from the city budget,
the 5,184 party flags and 216 national flags will be raised by
administration employees at 108 locations on the capital's main
thoroughfares, streets and popular spots.

Each location will have flags of each of the 48 parties plus
two of the national red-and-white flags, with each flagpole
separated by a distance of four meters.

Flags will be of different sizes, depending on the locations,
such as 1.8 meters by 2.25 meters and 2.3 meters by 3.45 meters.

Main roads/areas: Jl. Imam Bonjol (1 spot), Jl. Diponegoro
(1), Senayan traffic circle (1), Jl. Merdeka Selatan (1), Jl.
Rasuna Said (1), Jl. S. Parman (2), Jl. Sisingamangaraja (2),
Jl. M.T. Haryono (2), Jagorawi toll road (2), Cikampek toll road
(2), Kebon Jeruk toll road (2), Prof. Sudyatmo toll road (2),
Jl. Sudirman (3), Monas Square, Semanggi cloverleaf (4), Jl. MH
Thamrin (5) and Jl. Gatot Subroto (8).

Central Jakarta: Jl. Angkasa (1), Jl. Hasyim Ashari (1), Jl.
Kwitang (1), Tugu Tani Square (1), Jl. Pos (1), Jl. Pramuka (1),
