Official grilled for drunk-driving

JAKARTA: Head of Central Jakarta Public Order Agency Frans
Silalahi was questioned by police on Friday for alleged
drunkenness.

Criminal unit head of Taman Sari subprecinct in West Jakarta
First Insp. Pujiarto said police arrested him early Friday in a
taxi.

Pujiarto refused to give detailed information, but a source in
the Central Jakarta municipality said that Frans had been
arrested by police.

"I was informed that he came out of a restaurant drank. Then,
he went around the city without any destination in a taxi. When
the meter showed Rp 100,000, he hit the driver. He got out of
that taxi and entered another one.

Head of the City Public Order Agency Soebagio said Frans would
lose his job if found guilty. --Antara
