Officer caught in drug raid

KENDARI, Southeast Sulawesi: A police officer identified only as Capt. BS was arrested in a dawn drug raid on Wednesday, Antara reported on Saturday.

The officer was apprehended at about 4 a.m. at a party involving crystal methamphetamine, known as shabu-shabu. Seven other people were arrested in the raid led by Kendari Police chief Lt. Col. Indra Budi.

All of the suspects are reportedly being detained at Kendari Police Headquarters for further investigation. (edt)
