Nuclear station at Mt. Muria

We recently heard about the government's plan to build a nuclear power station at Mt. Muria. In our opinion, if the government still wants to build this reactor, it would be much wiser if the people of this nation were allowed to decide it for themselves.

People should be informed not only about the advantages of a nuclear reactor, but also about the bad effects of nuclear contamination.

We know that nuclear power is cheaper and cleaner, and that it doesn't need any kind of natural resources. But if something goes wrong, it is not cheap and clean any more.

Can anyone guarantee that nothing will ever go wrong? Even in developed countries like the U.S., Russia and the UK (which have more experience in nuclear technology) accidents still occur. And the effects are disastrous.

Don't you think it is quite arrogant to say that there will never be an accident?

Besides, we still have many other resources that have not been used optimally (wind and solar energy, for instance, or natural gas and coal).

We hope that the government would like to consider other options which are safer and more suitable for the people of this country.
