Not to insult

I'd like to respond to Mr Roland Larsson's letter in The
Jakarta Post, on July 22, 1994. In your letter I can sense that
you've been insulted by two pictures in The Jakarta Post. But I
think the Post didn't mean to insult Swedish athletes or make fun
of them.

I think what the Post meant was to picture a funny moment or
dramatic moment which happened on the arena. In this case these
two moments were done by Swedish athletes. If those moments were
done by any other athletes, even Indonesian athletes, I'm sure
the Post would run them also.

And one more thing, I'd like to congratulate the Swedish team
on what they've achieved in World Cup 1994.
