Not slanderous
Yet again it appears that Mr. Piero Ronci has missed the point. Vic Mills' article on Ruud Gullit at Chelsea: From giggles to mirth (The Jakarta Post, Aug. 4, 1995) was "tongue in cheek" and not a biased, slanderous attack on Gullit and the Italian soccer game, as Mr. Ronci seemed to think. If one is able to read between the lines, which our highly opinionated Mr. Ronci has failed to do, one should come to the conclusion that the article was actually complimenting Mr. Gullit and Italian soccer.
Furthermore, Mr. Ronci accuses Mr. Mill of being a garbage thrower, on the contrary Mr. Ronci has been throwing garbage, cleverly disguised as readers' letters. His views on rugby, eloquently stated several weeks ago, simply showed him to be the fraud he is, and his constant savaging of English soccer makes one wonder if this ranting anglophobic has anything better to do with his time than to write wholly subjective, nonsensical letters. In fact I have to wonder if this Mr. Piero Ronci actually exists, I believe Mr. Ronci is a pseudonym for someone out for a laugh, if this is not the case then I rest my case.
