Norwegian team visits Constitutional Court

JAKARTA: A delegation from the Norwegian government paid a visit to the Constitutional Court on Thursday to learn more about the newly established institution.

During the visit, Constitutional Court chief Jimly Asshidiqie and Prof. Jan Helgesen, the legal adviser of the Norwegian foreign affairs ministry who led the delegation, agreed to work together in the future.

Judge Jimly said that the exchange was necessary to assist the newly established court to be transparent and independent in handling constitution-related cases. -- JP
