North Sumatra to have 10 more police precincts

MEDAN, North Sumatra: The North Sumatra Police announced on
Thursday that they would soon create 10 new regental and
municipal precincts, following the establishment of 10 new
regencies and municipalities in the province. This would bring
the number of regental and municipal police precincts in the
province to 26.

The North Sumatra Police are now recruiting officers to fill
new positions in the precincts, said North Sumatra Police
spokesman Sr.Comr. Bambang Prihady on Thursday. -- JP
