North-South reunification

It is necessary to bring about a radical phase in the country's reunification this year under the banner of national independence. The short cut to independent reunification of the nation is to value the basic spirit of the June 15 North-South joint declaration and properly implement it.

All the Koreans holding higher the slogan reunify the country by united efforts of our nation, must subordinate everything to the common interests of the nation, desist from sycophancy and dependence on outside forces and boost cooperation between the North and South.

All attempts to ditch the June 15 North-South joint declaration must be rejected resolutely. Peace on the Korean Peninsula and achievement of reunification by dint of national independence requires an opposition to aggression and war moves and a removal of the danger of war.

All the Koreans in the North, South and abroad must make persistent efforts to hold in check the warhawks aggression and acts of military provocation and maintain peace of the country and the security of the nation.

No matter what storm may roar, the Korean Army and people will firmly defend our idea, system and cause.
