Nokia to launch 40 new phones

JAKARTA: Cellular phone market leader Nokia will launch 40 new models next year as it seeks to expand its reach in the market.

"Next year, Nokia will launch 40 models using GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication), CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) and 3G (Third Generation) technology.

"Half of them will be 3G products," Nokia product marketing manager L. Soegianto said on Friday during a company event in Surabaya. -- Antara
