Nokia opens retail outlet

JAKARTA (JP): Nokia Mobile Phones Indonesia reopens its Nokia Professional Center (NPC) at Jl. Abdul Muis, Central Jakarta, on Thursday with bigger space and longer hours.

PT Trikomsel Citrawahana, one of Nokia's five authorized distributors in Indonesia, said the center's new look was the result of customer input.

"Customers were asked to fill in questionnaires and help us decide how we could enhance our services," Trikomsel director Sugiono Wiyono said during the opening ceremony at Millennium Hotel.

The center offers a one-stop service to deal with customers' needs, from purchasing cellphones, accessories, after-sales services and complaints.

Most people complained of inadequate space, therefore the new center was made 35 percent bigger. Opening hours were extended to 08:00-19:00 from 09:00-18:00 on workdays.

Trikomsel operates four NPCs in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Semarang. (10)
