Nokia mobile phone

I would like to thank Adrianus Hyung T for his interest in Nokia's new mobile phone (Nokia 6110, Feb. 14).

The points he raised about the Nokia 6110 are timely, particularly the one about his difficulty in purchasing the new mobile phone. I apologize if anyone has found it difficult to purchase a Nokia 6110. This is because the market response for the Nokia 6110 has been so good that all stocks were snapped up within days of the product's launching.

Since then we have been trying our best to bring in more Nokia 6110s for our customers in Indonesia. New shipments are coming in all the time. However, to service our customers better and avoid further disappointments, our Nokia Professional Centers have begun a waiting list for would be buyers of the Nokia 6110 who still cannot get the phones.

All they have to do is to register their names and phone numbers to the Nokia Professional Centers (tel. 7507320 and 3440220). They will then be contacted to collect their phones as soon as the Nokia 6110 becomes available.

As to the other questions raised by Mr. Hyung, the recommended price of Rp 3,299,000 covers the cost of the handset as well as a battery and a charger, but it does not include tax. The price, however, may vary in the market due to the high demand.
