Nokia introduces new services

JAKARTA (JP): Nokia Mobile Phones Indonesia and its
distributor for wireless data applications, PT inTouch,
introduced on Wednesday several new value-added services for
booking flights and buying movie tickets through Nokia's
handsets.

"Making flight reservations and buying theater tickets will be
made possible with eTravel8 and inTouch Ticket Box," Andi Zein,
inTouch business development manager, said during a media
conference at the Indocomtech 2000 computer exhibition.

The movie theater at Puri Indah Mall in West Jakarta has been
selected for the inTouch Ticket Box pilot project.

"You can buy tickets for the movie you want at the time you
want through Nokia's handsets," he said, adding that the handsets
offering the services were Nokia WAP-enabled handsets, including
the 6210, 9110i and the new 3310.

Flight reservations can be made with eTravel8.com, a travel
portal jointly developed by inTouch, TravelAssist and Abacus.

The service facilitates online real-time booking made through
the handset, Andi said.

The programs will be launched at the end of this month, he
