No smoking in school, offices

BOGOR: In conjunction with World Tobacco Day on May 31, Bogor administration, which is designated as the pilot project for a smoke-free-town campaign, appointed 20 schools and 10 offices as no-smoking zones.

"We chose schools, because we know most smokers start at middle-high or high school ... moreover, smoking cigarettes may lead to illegal drug taking," health agency official Yusniar said on Thursday.

The administration will nominate one smoking area in each of the 10 offices. -- JP
