No font, no problem

BUSAN, South Korea: There are 44 countries and territories taking part in the Busan 2002 Asian Games. But it seems that the Busan Asian Games Organizing Committee (BAGOC) has forgotten to provide the necessary facilities in terms of the languages used by participating countries at the Main Press Center (MPC).

An Indian freelance writer, Suresh Kumar Dixit, has to handwrite his stories because "there isn't any computer here equipped with Hindi font."

"If I were using English there would be no problem at all. But, I have to send stories to six Hindi newspapers back home," he said.

"Luckily, I brought my scanner with me so I can send the files by e-mail. I had to think of something to overcome the problem, didn't I?"--JP
