No dubbing, please!

The Association of Santi Rama Deaf Alumni (IKASA) would like to express our concern over the government's plan to dub all foreign programs, including those in English on all TV stations, as a substitute for subtitles.

The policy, to be implemented next August, will surely deny the deaf their right to obtain information and to enjoy entertainment. The dubbing ruling is obviously a discriminatory act in its nature.

We would like to direct our opinion to the ministries of Information and Education and Culture for further consideration.
