No class for Kremlin bosses

MOSCOW: Western decadence is once again taboo in Russia, with the Kremlin putting the brakes on government officials being ferried about in imported luxury cars.

All officials will be forced to trade in their Mercedes S- Class and BMW 7-Series for local Zil limos.

Apparently, the Kremlin thought it was a tad inappropriate for its leaders to try to persuade Russia's unpaid masses to support the economic reforms from within the leather-lined luxury of German limousines.
