Nissan varies timing

TOKYO: Nissan in Japan will introduce its first variable valve timing system on a four-cylinder engine late this year.

The system, which varies the valve opening and closing time, is said to boost power and torque across the rev band.

The engines will be fitted to the Sunny, Pulsar, Bluebird and Primera.
