NISP's Rp 35 dividend

JAKARTA (JP): Bank NISP shareholders have approved a Rp 35
dividend.

The total dividend payment accounts for 31.7 percent of last
year's net profit.

"The dividend, in terms of rupiah, seems to be very small. But
in terms of value, it is quite good taking into account the
company's bonus shares and stock splits," the company said.

NISP posted a 12.69 percent rise in pre-tax profit from Rp
23.5 billion in 1995 to Rp 26.5 billion last year.

The bank's credit grew 22.25 percent from Rp 709 billion to Rp
866.9 billion.

Third party funds rose 44.14 percent from Rp 639.9 billion to
Rp 922.4 billion. (rid)
