Nike footwear has expiry date?

Nike has been my family's favorite shoes for so many years. Both my daughter and my son have been wearing them since they were little kids. Nike has also been my choice to accompany me playing tennis as well as traveling to many countries around the world. Why Nike? Because I have been impressed by Nike's comfort and durability. The soft and thick sole, and the pressured gas in Nike Air that provides extra cushioning with less weight has saved me from my sore feet while playing tennis or taking a long walk. However, I can't help but be disappointed by an unexpected experience I had with Nike recently.

On Saturday, Aug. 19, which was my tennis day, I noticed that my tennis shoes that I had been wearing so long were already worn out. They needed to be replaced, and I remembered having a new pair of Nike Air that I bought a year ago in my wardrobe. I rushed to go back to my room and searched for them. I was so happy to find them still looking handsome in the Nike shoe box.. I put them on straight away and started walking into my car with a tennis racket and a tennis bag in my hands.

Alas, I felt something strange with my shoes. I looked at my shoes and noticed that the sole had cracked and crumbled. So there was no way of even gluing the pieces back together. What an irony! They were 100 percent new, yet crumbled just a few minutes after I had worn them. Unbelievable! If such is the case that Nike shoes have an expiry date, please indicate clearly like any canned food sold in the stores or supermarkets which have labels on each of the products so that customers are aware of when it is best used by. It is unfair and irresponsible to leave customers uninformed.

I am sorry, but I really have a complaint to make to Nike International. I paid good money for my Nike Air shoes and now I can't wear them. I am not satisfied.

As a reputable company worldwide, I am hoping that Nike can do something about it.
