Nightclubs ordered to shut on July 4

MEDAN, North Sumatra: Medan Mayor Abdillah ordered on Thursday
all entertainment venues, such as nightclubs and discotheques to
close their doors on July 4, the night before the election.

The managers and owners who violated the order would be
sternly punished, and if necessary, their operating license would
be revoked, said Abdillah.

The order was aimed at creating a calm environment in the city
the night before people vote, according to the spokesman of the
