Night golf tournament in Karawaci

TANGERANG: To celebrate the 57th anniversary of Indonesian
independence, Lippo Imperial Golf Club will hold its first
evening Glow Ball Golf tournament in Karawaci on Friday.

"What is unique about this event is that it will be conducted
during the evening without using any lights," Chika, a
spokeswoman of Lippo Karawaci told The Jakarta Post on Wednesday.

She said participants would play the game in the dark using
glow balls.

The tournament is also aimed at establishing an Indonesian
Junior Golf Foundation, which will transfer funds collected
through the event to help talented, yet financially disadvantaged
young golfers to develop their skills.

She said the number of participants has been limited to just
25 teams. Each team will be given two hours to play a nine-hole
