New toll road in W. Java
JAKARTA (JP): The construction of a 29.5-kilometer toll road linking Cileunyi and Nagrek districts in West Java will cost around Rp350 billion (US$152 million), an official has said.
Gandhi Harahap from the Ministry of Public Works, said Thursday that the Cileunyi-Nagrek toll road, which will be constructed by PT Wijaya Karya jointly with the state-owned toll operator Jasa Marga, would be linked to the existing Pandalaran toll road.
He said that the construction of the planned Cileunyi-Nagrek toll road will start early next year, and is scheduled for completion in 1999.
Gandhi added that the new toll road would be opened in phases, beginning in 1998. (hen)
