New shopping guide

JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Tourism Foundation and PT Panca
Mitra Setia will jointly publish a tourism book.

The book titled The Indonesian Shopping Guide Book will
contain information and guidelines for both domestic and foreign
tourists on tourist facilities, including hotels and shopping
centers.

The book, which will be available in English and Japanese,
will be released within the next few months, foundation chairman
Wahyu Indrasto said.

"Our main intention is to improve Indonesia's image in the
international tourism world," Indrasto said.

Many foreign tourists have bad experiences when they buy
souvenirs and other goods at local tourist sites and shopping
malls, he said.

"I hope we get support from all tourist-related industries,"
