New police chief in Central Java

SEMARANG: Maj. Gen. Noegroho Djajoesman was installed
yesterday as the new Central Java Police chief replacing Maj.
Gen. Harimas AS.

Despite an impressive list of assignments, which included West
Java deputy police chief, this will be Noegroho's first
assignment in Central Java.

Meanwhile Harimas now moves to a new assignment at Police
Headquarters in Jakarta.

Yesterday's induction ceremony was conducted by National
Police Chief Gen. Dibyo Widodo. (har)
