New officer of jurisdiction case

JAKARTA (JP): Chief Military Prosecutor of the Armed Forces,
May. Gen. Augustin Setiawan, installed army Col. Imanuel Achyar
yesterday as the new team leader in charge of investigating the
interconnection of jurisdiction cases in the city.

Imanuel replaced Col. Nurfauzi, who is now chief of the City
Police Crime Investigation Directorate.

The team, which consists of senior police and military
officers as well as officials from related institutions, has been
assigned to help investigate crime cases which require the
involvement of other bodies.

Augustin expressed the hope that the newly-installed officer
would be able to solve the cases comrehensively despite a dearth
of funds and facilities. (bsr)
