New numbers for service

JAKARTA (JP): The East Jakarta office of state-owned
telecommunications company Telkom will be opening three special
lines as an extension of their services.

A survey of the utilization of the existing four lines, which
primarily deal with customer complaints of telephone
interference, indicated that customers need more avenues and
assistance with problems encountered with their telephones.

The three new numbers are: 857-9999 for telephone
disturbances, 857-2345 for marketing information and 857-8181 for
telephone account queries.

A 24-hour emergency line for East Jakarta operational problems
is 856-8600. (14)
