New hotel set up in Cikini
JAKARTA (JP): PT Griyawisata Hotel Management and Consultant, a domestic hotel management firm, will open a three-star hotel on Jl. Cikini, Central Jakarta, next year.
The hotel management agreement was signed here on Thursday by the company's president Idris Siregar and Ontoseno, president of PT Citrapuri Bhumicikini, the majority shareholder in the US$17 million hotel.
Griyawisata controls a 15-percent stake in the planned hotel.
A Griyawisata executive, Darwin Passat, said that the six- story Bhumicikini Hotel will start offering 87 rooms in the third quarter of next year.
Griyawisata currently manages four hotels, Lido Graha in Lhokseumawe, Aceh; Tiara in Medan, North Sumatra; Bahari Inn in Tegal, Central Java, and Balina Resort in Bali. (icn)
