JAKARTA (JP): The Purna Bhakti Pertiwi Foundation will build a hospital to be named Rumah Sakit Ibu Tien Soeharto in Jatinegara, East Jakarta, next year.

The future hospital, located on Jl. Basuki Rachmat in the Cipinang Selatan subdistrict, will be able to accommodate 600 patients. The hospital, which will be built on a 55,138 square meter plot of land, will be built within two years.

The committee in charge of construction met President Soeharto at his residence on Jl. Cendana on Tuesday to give a presentation on the project.
