JAKARTA (JP): Formula One racing enthusiasts need no longer search for magazines abroad about the sport as a new racing publication was launched here on Wednesday.

The first edition of F1 Racing contains 120 pages and is priced at Rp 20,000. It is published once a month with a circulation of 17,000.

The magazine's publisher, Iman Kusumo, said on Wednesday that F1 Racing was very popular worldwide. It is printed in 13 languages in 16 countries on four continents.

The 16 countries include England, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Finland, Brazil, Hong Kong, China, Australia, Japan, India, Turkey and Indonesia.

"This year, we will distribute the Indonesian version of the magazine to 48,000 Formula One fans at every Grand Prix race," Iman said.

He added that the magazine was printed by PT Quadra Media Publika under the license from Haymarket Autosport Publications Ltd in England.

"In England, the magazine has a circulation of 101,000 and is read by 526,000 people. We hope we can increase the circulation of 17,000 gradually," Iman said. (lnt)
