New council head for Bogor regency

BOGOR (JP): Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) of
Bogor regency, Endang Kosasih, was appointed on Thursday as
Bogor's new council speaker.

He outnumbered other nominees -- Albert Priadi of the
Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI Perjuangan) and
Muhammad Rusydi of the Golkar faction -- during a plenary session
with 21 votes from a total of 45 new council legislators.
