New boss for Semen Tonasa

JAKARTA (JP): State Minister of the Empowerment of State Enterprises Tanri Abeng will formally appoint a new president of state-owned cementmaker PT Semen Tonasa next week, the company's current president has said.

Nizar Dt. Kayo was quoted by Antara as saying on Saturday at Tonasa's cement factory in Pangkep, South Sulawesi, he would be replaced by Jufri Nessa, currently the director of production.

Jufri will be replaced by the corporate director of PT Semen Gresik, Sukarno, and Nizar will become a commissioner of the company.

Semen Tonasa is a subsidiary of PT Semen Gresik, the country's cement producer, which also wholly owns the West Sumatara-based PT Semen Padang. (das)
