Navy sailor caught smuggling

JAKARTA: Jakarta water police arrested a Navy sailor who
allegedly attempted to smuggle a used sewing machine and 37
second-hand bicycles into the country on Tuesday, the police
revealed on Wednesday.

The police said the sewing machine and bicycles were found in
the Insa, a vessel berthed at Tanjung Priok port, which is
reportedly registered in the name of Second Corp. Rubiyanto, who
is attached to the Navy's Western Fleet and is stationed in
Jakarta. -- JP
