NATO propaganda

I am very sad and disappointed that my favorite newspaper in the last four years, The Jakarta Post, is giving in under pressure from NATO propaganda.

In the March 31 issue of the Post, on the front page you have featured a strange title to a compilation of Reuters and other agencies news: Serbs attack Pristina and Kosovo valley. From the article as well as from their coverage of sad events in my country, including published photographs, it is obvious that it is NATO's criminal air raids that are destroying my country and that we are not (as the title implies) doing that to ourselves.

NATO is trying very hard to claim that they are hitting only military targets and that all other damages these attacks cause, including the escalation of violence on the ground, are self- inflicted. I cannot believe that my newspaper is going to subscribe to this false point of view.

Please do not take unconfirmed, exaggerated and ill-intended NATO propaganda aimed at justifying what cannot be justified, as truth.
