National runners join 10-K run

SEMARANG (JP): Some national runners will join the Rinnai 10-K
run here on Sunday which is offering a Rp 3 million prize for
first place in both the men's and the women's categories.

The organizers will also provide cash bonuses for runners who
break national records.

The runners include Ruwiyati, Henny Melon, Erni Wulatningsih
on the women's side and Ferry Junaidi, Tarman, Subadi and Suyono
on the men's side.

The organizing committee's chairman, Anthony Suryo Abadi, said
on Thursday night that the long-distance race would be officially
opened by Semarang Governor Mardiyanto. (har)
