National golfers to Monaco

JAKARTA (JP): Following strict screening from July through
September, three Indonesian golfers have been named to represent
their country for the BWM Cup finals at the Monte Carlo Golf Club
in Monaco next month.

The three were the winners in the final selection competition
contested at the plush par-72 Jagorawi course near Bogor last
Sunday, with 33 players in the fray. They are Made Suarta, Flight
A men's champion, Tan Joh, winner in the Flight B men's event and
Diana Suwandi, who came out as winner in the women's flight.

Some 65,000 golfers from five continents took part in the
selection competition to get tickets for the 1994 BMW Golf Cup
International finals to be staged at the par-71 layout, located
at Mont Agel some 810 meters above sea level. (rsl)
