I am disappointed that The Jakarta Post does not carry more
sports news about our very exciting national football
competitions. This is an unfortunate time to mention this since
you did carry our Uber and Thomas triumphs in Hong Kong recently,
and you reported on the Lazio game. If there is an international
exhibition or contest you do report it, but what of the national
Dunhill League competitions happening right now?

You really should carry the results and "play by play" of
these teams in your sport pages. I am mystified to see often
obscure European sporting events and American baseball results
reported almost daily while our thrilling local teams go
unmentioned.

Foreign nationals missing their favorite home teams would be
clever to embrace their local (Indonesian) football clubs. There
is a lot of action and talent, and it's just plain fun.
