National conference on IT at ITB

To bridge the gap between theory and practice, the Bandung Institute of Technology, in cooperation with Pasundan University, will organize a national conference on information and technology on (IT) Feb. 18.

The committee invites scholars, researchers and lecturers to participate and send their scientific papers on three topics: IT and organization, IT and technology and IT and human beings.

Papers on IT and organization should discuss such issues as balance scorecard, outsourcing, e-procurement and supply chain management and audit systems.

The participants can also write issues related to IT and technology topics, such as web services, IT security and IT innovations.

Meanwhile, papers on IT and human beings, should discuss such issues as e-government, distance learning and cyber laws.

The papers must be submitted to the committee by Dec. 15.
