National bodybuilders attend Solo Open

SURAKARTA, Central Java (JP): Seven national bodybuilders will
compete in the Solo Open national bodybuilding invitational at
Manahan stadium here, starting June 16 to June 17.

Chief of the organizing committee J. Suprapto named the
national bodybuilders as Syahrizal of Bengkulu, Rustam of Riau,
Steve of Jakarta, Willy and M. Kuat of Semarang and Jalal of
Surabaya.

They will join some 100 bodybuilders from 10 provinces in the
invitational which features seven weight divisions: 55kg, 60kg,
65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg and top bodybuilder. Only national
bodybuilders who reached the top three ranks during the 2000
National Games (PON) in East Java will compete in the last
