Naked body found in a ditch

JAKARTA (JP): Residents of Medan Satria subdistrict, West
Bekasi, found on Saturday morning the naked body of a young woman
dumped in a local ditch.

A police officer, who brought the body to the Cipto
Mangunkusumo General Hospital, said the unidentified woman,
believed to be in her 20s, was found laying face down.

"Clothes assumed to be hers were found some 100 meters away
from the body," said officer, who asked for anonymity.

Evidence of a vicious assault was found all over her body.

Judging from the wounds, the officer firmly believed that the
girl had been killed before being dispose of in the ditch. (06)
